Why North Wisconsin?
God has put a specific burden on my heart for the Northwoods of Wisconsin — especially the Phillips / Price County area. This isn't about building a brand or chasing numbers. It's about reaching the unchurched, calling people back to Jesus Christ, and helping build a real, Bible-centered community that actually lives what it says it believes.
The Mission
My mission for North Wisconsin is simple:
Plant a physical church in Phillips, Wisconsin (when the timing and provision are right)
Preach Christ boldly and clearly — no fluff, no compromise, no entertainment-first "church"
Make disciples, not spectators
Build a healthy community where people worship, grow, serve, and walk through life together
Reach younger people and the unchurched with the Gospel and practical, everyday faith
What I Believe a Pastor Is Called to Do
I believe the pastor's job is not to keep everyone comfortable.
Afflict the Comfortable
Challenge pride, complacency, compromise, and sin. Real shepherding doesn't look the other way.
Comfort the Afflicted
Strengthen the hurting, the broken, the repentant, and the weary. Truth and love together.
"Truth and love, correction and care — without fear of man."
Ministry Was Never Meant to Be Outsourced
I also believe the work of ministry was never meant to be outsourced to "the pastor" while everyone else watches.
The church is not a show. It's a body.
The pastor's role is to equip.
The people's calling is to go and do the work of ministry.
That means real Christianity doesn't end at the church door. It shows up in daily life — how we serve, how we love, how we pray, how we speak, how we give, and how we live.
What This Looks Like Practically
Here's what I'm working toward in the Northwoods:
A church culture built on Scripture (not trends)
Bold preaching and real worship (not performance)
Discipleship and accountability (not shallow inspiration)
Community that actually shows up for each other
Outreach and evangelism that isn't just talk
Training believers to serve, lead, and minister — right where they are
